FAQs

Learn more about Treat Accessibly, what we do, and how you can help make Halloween accessible for children of all abilities.

How can I help support Treat Accessibly?

Treat Accessibly is not a charity or non-profit, just a family. All we ask of people is to help by sharing the message of Treat Accessibly by putting a lawn sign on their lawn and treating accessibly on Halloween night. Our family will raise the funds to make everything free for you to champion the kids.

How does Treat Accessibly raise funds?

All funds are raised through the help of kind people at companies like Canadian Tire, RE/MAX, and Kinder in Canada who share our passion for accelerating accessible inclusion for our kids and 22% of our Country’s population that identify with having a disability.

Can any home participate?

Yes, all you need do is Treat from the end of your driveway, lawn or garage. Check out our How to page for more details.

How do I get a Free Lawn Sign?

First, register for a Free Lawn Sign and we will be sending out an email about our national distribution points.

Can I have a Treat Accessibly Halloween Village on our street?

Yes, the Padulo Family arranges 9 Treat Accessibly Halloween Villages, but any street can use our Free DIY Treat Accessibly Halloween Village kit, downloadable here.

When I register to attend a Treat Accessibly Halloween Village, do I register for one family or everyone in our group?

Please register for everyone in your group.  It helps us ensure the event never gets so busy that it creates barriers for the families participating that need a little more space. Register to attend a 2024 Halloween Village.
